It’s true we have easy access to all the information we want to help us with solving a problem or assist in a buying decision. Yet in many instances likability trumps knowledge. We prefer to buy from people and brands we like. We form a connection or bond with some brands and not others, and our buying decisions reinforce our values.
Today’s buyer is well connected, knowledgeable, savvy, and seeks out memorable experiences and brands whose ideals resonate with theirs.
While making a profit and creating difference for your customers is important, it’s also vital to study and understand your customers’ motivations, desires, values, frustrations, dreams and hopes.
Remember your customer is always asking, “Is it worth it?”
